Not having any pictures of actual wine should not discredit the suitability of my outfit for a full day of navigating the infamous Napa wine trail. In fact, more credit is due to the perfected formula that allowed all of the wine to be drank before we took the pictures!
Dressing for Napa was a daunting task to say the least. It being my first time there, I had no clue what to expect. California in December is a little colder than what I am used to, so I knew I would need layers. Little did I know, layers would be essential for the Napa weather! I was able to wear this thin turtleneck with the option of the vest, and I even added a grey pea coat (not pictured) that was perfect for the wind and rain we experienced. Being able to add or extract from my outfit kept me comfortable all day!
The only option for footwear when wine tasting is comfortable. Some places aren’t paved, a lot have cobblestone, and all of them have grapevines to galavant through! Basically, being able to navigate all types of terrain is crucial. For me, these over the knee block heel boots were the perfect compromise between fashion and function. The block heel allowed me to walk anywhere easily, but the over the knee silhouette satisfied my need elevate my look.
